Final days in Estepona

Well after our several trips, it was time to chill out in Estepona and get ourselves ready for Sevilla. We went to a restaurant recommeded by Jill at Marriott...Cinnamon...and yes, it was like being a Brit and 'having a curry.' But it was a change and very close to our villa.

It was chicken vindaloo for the gentleman

and bhindi masala for the lady, and garlic naan for both.

A nice evening.

Back to the same fish restaurant Escollara but very quiet on a weekday - Valentine's Day.
Escollera ..a quieter day
We both had good meals and decided to get some shrimp for a 'takeaway' for the evening. Well our garbled Spanish leaves a lot to be desired...and when we looked at our platter of our 'shrimp', we found instead an entire fish...lovingly grilled and beautiful to behold. Delicious too. Why bother trying to figure out what went wrong in our conversation or translation.

These I cooked to take along the way as we set off on Friday the 15th for Tarifa and Sevilla.
