Day 8 On to Tarifa...and sun!

It mostly held true on this trip that as long as we were outside the Costa del Sol, we had Sol. Andres, our concierge, was truly helpful with all the advice and map details he gave us on our trip. Gracias!

A final breakfast and get in the car!


Friday am, we drove west to Tarifa and what a remarkable contrast to the totally developed Costa del Sol.


The Moorish Tower still stands guard..but it's windsurfers that it watches now.



Just perfect...empty beach and warm but windy.


Inside a little restaurant, a surprise for that special grandson.


Some fruit for us to eat in the car


And who knew there was such a word!


Back on the road, and away from the coast on a quiet highway and the occasional white city in the distance.
