Ah...Espana

Day 3 Estepona
We are now in our third day in Spain but first day with internet connections. The early part of this trip had what we call...challenges.

Day 1 was rather lost in red tape with a flight delay and then a lost piece of luggage. That necessitated an unexpected stay outside of Madrid to wait for the luggage to make its journey from Paris to Madrid. We learned about a flexible definition of soon on day 1.

Day 2 comprised a long drive down to the Costa del Sol. Had we had an earlier start the day might not have been so long, but we slept until almost 10am. Back to the airport, fetched the suitcase, and got into our rental car. We had made the decision to do some sightseeing along the way, so the drive was broken into segments. We just didn't know how many segments were ahead. After circling Madrid, we hit the A7 south and the haze over Madrid lifted to a cloudless sky.

We were finally in Sunny Spain, both literally and emotionally.
